WA Leudinghaus Bridge 1

Tierra was contracted by Wetland Resources, Inc., to conduct a cultural resources assessment in advance of the construction of a 6-mile-long, 115kV electrical line in Snohomish and Island Counties. The work was performed in support of an U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permit and various State and County permits.

Tierra’s field investigation involved visual reconnaissance, pedestrian survey, and subsurface testing. Tierra’s archaeologists dug 46 shovel test probes at 100-m intervals throughout the project area. All four reports were completed within the required schedule. Tierra recommended construction monitoring in certain portions of the project area.
