Wenatchee

Tierra was contracted to provide acquisition services for the City of Wenatchee's Western Avenue Safety Improvement Project. Designed to improve accessibility and safety along city streets, the project includes street widening and shoulder enhancements to make way for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.

The project will also place new traffic signal poles in three corners at a busy intersection, improving safety for drivers and pedestrians. Tierra’s role on the project was to perform the necessary acquisitions of six partial fee acquisitions, three temporary construction easements, and one relocation of personal property only. Tierra completed all work for the project in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, including the Uniform Act, Washington State Department of Transportation Local Agency Guidelines, and RCW Chapter 8.26. The project was successfully certified in October 2016.
