Ms. Bayer brings over nine years of experience in community planning and project management to her new role with Tierra. She is a highly skilled manager who possesses a unique understanding of the development challenges facing New Mexico communities. In her former role as Project Manager for the Santa Fe Public Works Department’s Santa Fe River Greenway project, Ms. Bayer managed the land acquisition process and led strategic planning efforts for the long-term use of the Santa Fe River corridor. She also served as Assistant Director of the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Main Street Revitalization Program, where she coordinated the implementation of capital construction projects through the planning, design, and construction phases.

Ms. Bayer holds a master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico, as well as a graduate certificate in Historic Preservation and Regionalism.
