Between 2011 and 2020, Tierra performed five cultural resources surveys for the Bureau of Land Management on land in Navajo County, Arizona. Three projects involved surveying an area greater than 2,000 acres, and the other two involved areas greater than 400 acres. In total, Tierra staff discovered 190 new archaeological sites, recommended more than 50 as Eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places, and recorded more than 1,000 isolated occurrences.
