During this cultural resources inventory, Tierra recorded 17 new archaeological sites, revisited two previously recorded sites, and recorded 184 isolated manifestations. Of the 19 sites, 3 are historic, including a historic homestead. The prehistoric sites include 12 lithic scatters and four artifact scatters comprising both lithics and ceramics. Several of the lithic scatters probably date to the Archaic period. Tierra submitted a cultural resources report documenting the results of fieldwork to the Bureau of Land Management’s Las Cruces District Office.
