Tierra conducted biological and cultural resources surveys and prepared a Biological Evaluation, Class III cultural resources report, and an Environmental Information Document for submittal to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the Nogales International Outfall Interceptor (IOI) project. Tierra also prepared a Nationwide Permit and Habitat Mitigation and Monitoring Plan in support of a Clean Water Act 404 permit from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. The project entails relocating lateral sewer line connections to the IOI and adding bank protection and stabilization along Nogales Wash.
